What if it’s time to rethink where your career is headed?

You may have spent years building a successful career by making smart decisions, taking good opportunities, and doing what made sense along the way. Or you may find yourself in a transition you did not necessarily choose, trying to determine what kind of role should come next.

Either way, you do not want your next career decision to be driven simply by momentum, urgency, or what looks most logical on paper.

  • Maybe you are considering a change.
  • Maybe you are between roles and trying to figure out what you really want next.
  • Maybe you have more options than clarity.
  • Or maybe you simply want to be more intentional about where you are going and why.

The Career Reset is a 3-week small-group experience designed to help you step out of career momentum or urgency, look more closely at the story God has been writing through your work, recognize how He has uniquely designed you, and create a clear, faith-led plan for what comes next.

Our careers can happen to us, or we can navigate them with intention.

Most career decisions are not a choice between an obviously right path and an obviously wrong one. There may be several reasonable options, each with its own opportunities, risks, and practical realities.

For many of us, career decisions have been shaped primarily by what made sense at the time: the opportunity in front of us, the next logical step, the needs of our family, or what seemed like the smart thing to do.

But at some point, you may begin to wonder what it would look like to invite God more intentionally into the conversation about your career.

You may be:

  • Looking at the logical next step and wondering whether it actually fits who God created you to be.
  • Between roles and feeling pressure to find something quickly, while wanting to be thoughtful about what kind of opportunity you pursue next.
  • Considering several possibilities and trying to weigh your gifts, desires, responsibilities, and practical realities with wisdom.
  • Sensing that God may be leading you in a different direction, but unsure how to distinguish His leading from your own desires, fears, or expectations.
  • Ready to make a more intentional career decision than you have in the past, rather than simply following the path that seems most obvious.

The Career Reset gives you space to look at the bigger story of your career, better understand how God has designed and led you, and bring Him intentionally into the process of considering the possibilities in front of you.

You may not know exactly what comes next. You can still move forward with clarity and intention.

Over three weeks, we’ll make space to look back at the story that has brought you here, notice more clearly how God has designed you, and consider the possibilities in front of you. Then we’ll bring what is becoming clear together into a practical plan for the next 90 days.

Week 1: Reframe the Story

Your career is more than a list of jobs, titles, and accomplishments.

We’ll look back at the experiences, decisions, transitions, successes, disappointments, and patterns that have shaped your career so far. Not to second-guess the choices you have made, but to notice how God has been present, forming and shaping you through each part of the journey.

Week 2: Recognize the Design

God has designed you with intention.

We’ll pay attention to the kinds of work, problems, people, environments, and opportunities that tend to bring out your best, along with the patterns that may help explain why some roles have fit you better than others.

This is not about putting you in a box or identifying one “perfect job.” It is about gaining clearer language for how God has made you and using that understanding as you consider what could fit in the next chapter.

Week 3: Respond with a Plan

Clarity becomes much more useful when you know what to do with it.

We’ll bring together what you are learning about your story, your design, and the possibilities you are considering, then turn that clarity into a practical 90-day plan.

Your plan may include conversations, research, experiments, applications, skill-building, or other concrete steps that allow you to keep discerning with God while also moving forward.

You don’t have to sort through what comes next on your own.

The Career Reset gives you a structured, confidential space to reflect on your career, invite God into the questions you are carrying, learn alongside others, and turn what becomes clearer into practical next steps.

Start with thoughtful pre-work

Before the first session, you’ll complete guided pre-work that helps you reflect on your career story, the decisions and transitions that have shaped you, what has worked well, what has not, and the questions you are carrying now. You’ll also complete the Alignment Wheel so we have another lens on where you are today.

Three 90-minute small-group sessions

We meet once a week for three weeks. Each conversation builds on the one before it as you reframe your career story, recognize your design, explore possibilities and begin shaping your 90-day plan.

Reflection and exploration between sessions

You’ll have focused reflection and practical work between our conversations, giving you time to apply what you are learning to your own career and explore the possibilities that are beginning to emerge.

Build your 90-day plan

Across the three weeks, you’ll identify the conversations, research, experiments, applications, skill-building, or other steps that will help you move forward with greater clarity and intention.

A 45-minute individual Implementation Session

After the group experience, you’ll meet 1:1 with Ann to review your 90-day plan, talk through remaining questions or uncertainty, and make sure you have a practical way to keep moving forward.
